Russia E-Visa Requirements
Make sure you have everything ready before starting your application
Passport
- Valid for at least 6 months from your intended entry date
- At least one blank page for visa stamp
- Must be in good condition with clear photo
Digital Photo
- Size: 3.5 x 4.5 cm (passport size)
- Taken within the last 6 months
- White background, neutral expression
- No glasses, hats, or head coverings (except religious)
Travel Insurance
- Minimum coverage of EUR 30,000
- Must cover your entire stay in Russia
- Include medical emergencies and evacuation
Accommodation Details
- Hotel booking confirmation or reservation
- Invitation letter from host (if visiting friends/family)
- Full address of your stay in Russia
Application Dos and Don'ts
Do
- Double-check all information matches your passport exactly
- Apply at least 2 weeks before your travel date
- Use a recent, high-quality passport photo
- Purchase travel insurance before applying
- Keep copies of all submitted documents
Don't
- Don't use old or edited photos
- Don't apply with a passport expiring within 6 months
- Don't wait until the last minute to apply
- Don't provide false or misleading information
- Don't forget to print your approved e-visa
